Barn Fire, 7/30/06

A single stroke positive ground flash started a barn on fire which was completely destroyed.

View is looking southeast from west Rapid City (Carriage Hills Drive). Catron Blvd is visible just left of the center of the image. Smoke from a burning barn is now visible at the location of the lightning strike. Time of video capture was 7/30/06, 6:26:50 pm MDT.
